Launches a Web 2.0 social learning service which helps colleges and universities extend learning to where students live and socialize

ConnectYard, Inc. today announced that the Company has joined EDUCAUSE as a Corporate Member. The formal launch of ConnectYard's Web 2.0 social learning service is strengthened by ConnectYard's participation at the Educause Learning Initiative - 2009 Annual Meeting. This year's meeting is titled "Social Learning for the 21st Century" and is attended by a diverse group of leading higher education professionals that significantly influence the direction of teaching, learning, and technology, and the corporations providing the technology to advance that change.

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.
